SIMEROCK AFTERMOVIE
Client:
SimeRock
A cinematic festival aftermovie capturing the scale, performances, crowd, and atmosphere of the weekend.
Deliverables:
In August 2026, Matti documented Simerock, an iconic large-scale music festival held in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. The sold-out weekend brought together 26,000 visitors and a wide lineup of some of Finland’s most recognised artists.
The goal was to translate the scale and energy of the festival into a fast-paced cinematic aftermovie, combining live performances, crowd moments, details, and the atmosphere surrounding the event. The final film was created as a visual recap of the weekend, capturing both the spectacle on stage and the experience within the crowd.
